The particle size analysis of JSC Mars-1 simulant dust measured using the Microtrac® analyzer is shown in Figure 5.28. The d10, d50, d90 values were found to be 1.22 μm, 9.06 μm, and 38.45 μm, respectively. The CMD of simulant dust using an ESPART analyzer was 3.66 μm (standard deviation 0.19, n = 15).
